Deep Dive Case Review

60 minutes, $325

We’ll get into the details about your symptoms, previous treatment approaches, and what your biggest roadblocks are. After a careful holistic assessment of your history, considerate next steps will be advised.

  • In-depth medical review of your pain history including review of: imaging studies, laboratory data, prior treatment approaches, and other pertinent 'not pain related' medical history.

    In addition, you'll receive a thorough evaluation of your associated symptoms, a personality assessment, and an evaluation of current and past psychological or social stressors in your life.

  • After in depth evaluation, you'll receive an assessment as to whether mind-body healing approaches are right for you. As indicated, you'll get a personalized somatic healing treatment plan with tangible next steps.

    For those interested in receiving additional mind-body treatment support from Alex, the 'Bloom 3 Month Program' is advised.

    Alternatively, if a mind-body approach is not the best treatment type for your case, alternative treatments will be recommended instead. Appropriate referrals will be given, taken from a unique list of Alex's excellent, compassionate, and highly vetted referral network of chronic pain professionals.

The Bloom Program is a concierge style mind-body healing experience designed to expedite your chronic pain recovery in a way that is safe, effective, and completely life-changing.

You’ll remain in the driver’s seat of your self-healing journey, and the Bloom curriculum will be your navigation system.

What’s inside:

  • Receive a life changing self-healing curriculum that will help you eliminate chronic pain, improve your overall wellbeing, and prevent chronic pain from striking again.

    You'll learn exactly how the mind-body system causes chronic pain.

    In order to release the unprocessed emotions that are contributing to your pain cycle, we'll work together to find your unique emotional processing 'secret sauce'.

    You'll complete self-directed somatic healing exercises at your own pace, working through a variety of different techniques in order to find healing modalities that suit your needs best.

  • You'll receive weekly virtual visits with Alex, done on your terms.

    60 minute visits are typically recommended, but appointment lengths are completely customizable to fit your needs and schedule.

    You'll have direct email access to Alex during weekdays, allowing for real-time question answering, problem solving and self-healing support.

  • At Bloom we do not believe in a 'one size fits all' healing approach.

    Our goal is to expose you to the depth and breadth of somatic healing tools, allowing you to iterate through your own self-healing process with the knowledgable guidance and extreme care of your mentor, Alex.

    It's our job to find healing approaches that work for YOU, not the other way around.

You’ll learn about the field of mind-body medicine, the mounds of scientific research backing the mind-body origin of chronic pain, about the keys to successful treatment, the hundreds of thousands of pain sufferers who eliminated chronic pain via the mind-body approach, and about pioneers of the mind-body field including Dr. John Sarno MD, Dr. David Schechter MD, Dr. Howard Schubiner MD, Dr. David Clarke MD, and many others!

    Tools of choice: Targeted reading of books & research articles, specialized conference & podcast recommendations, personalized 1:1 education around the etiology of your unique pain story

    emotional processing

    Our goal at Bloom is to help you shift out of a pattern of expressing your emotions physically/ somatically through chronic pain & associated symptoms. We’ll do this by guiding you through proper emotional processing techniques that will eliminate your mind-body’s need for physical symptoms altogether. You’ll learn a slew of somatic emotional processing techniques to integrate into your everyday life, empowering your continued self-healing journey from stubborn symptoms even outside of Bloom sessions.

    Tools of choice: Somatic Emotional Processing (*unique to Bloom), Breathwork, Yin yoga, guided meditations, guided journaling & other targeted nervous system regulation tools. 

    *Of note: we refer out for deep Trauma work, as needed. Trauma healing modalities we recommend for mind-body concerns include: Heart Math, Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Brain Spotting, & other somatic-based tools.

    What do high achievers, perfectionists, people pleasers, and first born daughters all have in common? They are highly capable, hyper self-critical, and often ignore their own needs in service of others. Sure, being a Type A badass is a superpower in many aspects/ roles in your life! But the constant, unconscious steamrolling over your own needs has resulted in a pattern of emotional self-neglect. So, to get your attention, your body has decided to send you the loudest signal it can think of: enter in chronic pain.

    With the help of Bloom, you’ll heal physical symptoms by learning to minimize self-abandonment. The antidote: incorporating self-compassion into your internal vernacular. You’ll come to understandthat high symptom days (or seasons) are signs of increased self abandonment or self-criticism. Armed with your new understanding how pain arises, you’ll develop your own self-healing secret sauce to keep symptoms away for GOOD. *While allowing the badass parts of you to shine through, of course.

    Tools of choice: Internal Family Systems (IFS, “parts” work), guided journaling, guided meditations, specialized readings & podcast recommendations.
